A well-drafted PoSH policy is the foundation of your compliance programme. This template gives you a document that:

⚠  What a Template Cannot Do

A policy alone does not make you compliant.

Many organisations download a template, upload it to their intranet, and consider themselves compliant. This is a misconception that courts have repeatedly rejected.

  • A policy without a constituted IC is non-compliant. You must formally constitute the IC with a written order and appointment letters.
  • An IC without an External Member is invalid. The External Member is a legal requirement, not optional.
  • A policy document alone does not substitute for annual employee training. Training must be conducted and documented separately.
  • An annual report must still be filed with the District Officer before January 31 each year.
  • An IC that has exceeded its 3-year term must be reconstituted — the policy does not auto-renew compliance.
